His specific contributions to ECRIN-M3 is the Recruitment of patients diagnosed with clinical MBL, as well as control patients’ groups (MGUS, CLL, MZL and MM) at different stages of the disease, to collect samples as well as epidemiological and clinical data, also contributes to build a genetic and a transcriptomic map of MBL and MGUS tumour/clonal cells to compare with those of their malignant counterparts (CLL/MZL and MM, respectively) from development and validation stages of single-cell protocols for next generation sequencing (NGS) to the application of NGS approaches on single MBL/MGUS cells and CLL/MZL and MM cells.

In addition, he collaborates in WP1 and WP6 for Coordination and Management and Data Analysis, Dissemination and Exploitation, respectively, as all the other co-investigators and collaborators of this proposal.

Professor Marcos González Diaz is a University Professor of the Department of Medicine of the University of Salamanca (USAL), Head in the Haematology Service of the University Clinical Hospital of Salamanca (Hospital Clínico Universitario de Salamanca-HCUS).
